Pastor Saeed Abedini’s Wife Halts Public Advocacy

For the past three years Naghmeh Abedini has publicly battled her husband’s captors, advocating for his release from an Iranian jail, Christianity Today reports. Last week, the emotional distress proved too much, she said.

(Editor’s note: Please pray for the family. CT makes some allagations about her reasons for going private. We must be careful in discussing things we do not know personally. It does not change the fact that Saeed is illegally detained and being tortured for his faith in Jesus. We are all flawed humans, Christian or not. I myself am a flawed person following a perfect Savior. Please pray for Saeed’s release and for healing for Naghmeh.)
