Aiding military heroes

From the Joshua Chamberlain Society:

We are happy to announce, we have adopted two new JCS/Nashville Heroes.  Marine Lance Corporal Christopher Malone and Chief Warrant Officer 3 Jeremy Miller U.S. Army Kiowa Warrior Instructor Pilot.

Lance Cpl. Malone was deployed to Afghanistan in 2004.  After one year returned home for a few months and was then deployed to Iraq where he served until his Humvee was ambushed and blown up.  Chris suffered numerous internal injuries, burns, loss of one leg and TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury).

CW3 Miller deployed six times to Iraq and on one of these deployments was in a helicopter crash which ultimately has caused vision problems and other complications causing him to retire from service February 28, 2017.

We have three (3) fund raisers planned so far this year:

  • Songwriters Night at Arrington Vineyards on July 15, 2017
  • JCS/Nashville Clay Shoot  at Nashville Gun Club on August 19, 2017
  • Our Annual JCS/Nashville Gala on November 4, 2017at Richland Country Club.

Please mark your calendars for these upcoming events.  We need your support so we can continue to help our Heroes.
