Murfreesboro: The Arabic Baptist Church – not your average American church

Dr. Raouf Ghattas, pastor of the Arabic Baptist Church, was recently interviewed on the Murfreesboro Post on the founding of his church. Here is a brief excerpt:

We were asked to teach in many of our local churches about Islam and how to share the Christian faith with Muslims. It soon became apparent that teaching was not enough to offset the fear and hatred toward Muslims and the Arab community. In April 2011, we began the Arabic Baptist Church, using a building offered to us by our friends at First Baptist, Murfreesboro.
