JACKSON, Tenn. — SoulQuest Church is hosting Love Week, a week where they are partnering with other organizations to better Jackson, WBBJ reports.
The church is working with The Star Center, RIFA, Habitat for Humanity and Area Relief Ministries to help in soup kitchens, after-school care, painting and community cleanup in neighborhoods across the Hub City.
“We come here and tell people they are loved by Jesus every day. We try to show it in the way we live our life, and we just want to reach out and be more intentional with it,” SoulQuest Operations Pastor Austin Coleman said. “Love Week is where we just want to get into the community of Jackson and show the community of Jackson that we love the community of Jackson, and so we partner with organizations that are already doing a really good job in our community because we don’t want to re-invent the wheel.”
The week will end on Friday night with a block party at the AMP in downtown Jackson. The block party will be benefiting RIFA with stations to donate to the organization.
