Old Bibles recycled for modern-day ministry

Dan Whittle has a neat story on the Murfreesboro Post about people who reuse old Bibles for modern ministries.

“Our grandparents and great-grandparents before us, prayed about and marked a lot of wisdom in their old Bibles,” Sunday school teacher I.N. Sheffield said. “Later this spring, the Lord is leading me to do an old-timey three-night revival. I want to use some of those old Bibles as guide posts for today’s young people.”

“Anyone wanting to donate old Bibles can send them to Smyrna Parkway Baptist Church, 1715 Lee Victory Parkway, across from the Publix shopping center,” Brother Sheffield directed.
