Kindergarten students at Blythe-Bower Elementary School have completed their annual trip to the North Pole. It was aboard the Polar Express in a visit to Santa Claus, his elves and reindeer, the Cleveland Daily Banner reports.
More than 100 young students participated in Friday’s annual “The Polar Express” adventure in the school’s theater.
Cleveland Mayor Tom Rowland was once again the narrator of the holiday story, held each year since Blythe-Bower opened as a new school in 2000.
“I really don’t know how many years I’ve participated,” said Mayor Rowland. “I’ve helped every time I’ve been asked.”
