Ridley Scott casts child as voice of God in ‘Exodus’ movie

In the “Exodus” movie, director Ridley Scott has chosen various ways to convey God’s communication with Moses, played by Christian Bale. When God speaks directly to Moses, it is through a young boy, Malak, played by 11-year-old Brit Isaac Andrews, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

(This is another case of Hollywood not “getting” Christianity, or Judaism. A child to speak for God, who presented such a mighty presence to Moses? Christian Bale to play Moses?)
