Nashville’s oldest active church, of which President Andrew Jackson was a member, is celebrating the 200th anniversary of its earliest congregation, the Tennessean reports.

First Presbyterian Church is inviting the public to celebrate the milestone in worship at 4 p.m. Nov. 16 at the Downtown Presbyterian Church, which separated from First Presbyterian Church in 1955 but will join the commemoration.
