Bible foundation to hold scripture conference in Tennessee

SHELBYVILLE — Bible & Literature Missionary Foundation will hold its annual scripture conference Oct. 20-21 at Victory Baptist Church on North Main Street.

This year’s conference will include a dedication ceremony for B&L’s new facility, which is being dubbed the “Bible Barn,” on U.S. 231 south of Shelbyville, a few miles south of B&L’s old facility on Cannon Boulevard.

The non-profit publisher of Bibles and Christian literature, celebrating its 46th anniversary this year, has begun the process of moving but won’t be fully moved by the time of the conference, said Bobby Lemmon, the group’s director.

Speakers at the conference will include Dr. Bobby Roberson of Gospel Light Baptist Church in Walkertown, North Carolina; Dr. Mike Allison of Madison (Alabama) Baptist Church; Dr. Mark Smith of Faith Baptist Church of Tacoma, Washington; and the Rev. Mike Kerley of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Crossville.

Music will be provided by the quartet Canaanland and by Clint and Donna Kerns with the Multi-Church Conference Choir, among others.
B&L draws in volunteers from churches in a wide area, who come to the facility to help sort Bible pages so that they can be bound.
